eShare Launches new Secretariat Package
As part of their dedication to improve governance throughout the industry, eShare have launched a secretariat package to help relieve the unnecessary burden on the secretariat function and provide an easy way to better connect trustees with their pension schemes.
“Of everything we do to improve the governance of pension schemes the area that schemes usually find delivers the greatest returns relates to the secretariat function.” said Alister Esam Managing Director of eShare. “There is a huge opportunity to improve the way papers are collated, distributed and stored and committee actions are managed. Invariably this turns out to be the best way to increase Trustees engagement and deliver a better service to Trustees.”
eShare are the UK’s leading provider of governance software, offering pension schemes of all sizes and status a variety of different software solutions to help raise their standards of governance, reducing risks and costs.
The secretariat package will include:
• eMeeting collaboration to produce meeting information
• Simplified distribution of meeting papers
• Central maintenance of all meeting information
• In addition it will also include meeting action management which until now has only been provided to eShare Gold customers.
“We have packaged up specifically chosen aspects of our system in an offering designed to aid the secretariat function and better service trustees. We have also restructured our pricing to ensure that eShare is accessible to all.”
“The secretariat package of eShare provides a gateway to improve governance for schemes whose trustees need to be better connected than they are.”
The eShare “Secretariat Package” will help schemes to:
• Ensure all meeting actions are managed and everyone can see exactly what actions are outstanding for each committee.
• Reduce costs and risk through reducing time wasted performing mundane tasks
• Allow for agenda collaboration
• Ensures earlier and instant distribution of meeting papers
• Creates an automatically managed precedent database with full, clear audit trails which help improve scheme transparency
• Create a centralised knowledge base with easy access to information The workload placed upon the secretariat can be huge.
As scheme governance becomes more complex and schemes run an increasing number of committees eShare makes the secretariat task less burdensome.
“Our clients using the secretariat package at present are impressed at the functionality and the feedback is nothing but positive,” said Esam. “We are now looking to expand our user base and help more schemes.” For further details about the secretariat package, or to arrange a personal demonstration of the system, please call 0845 200 7829.
