eShare Buddy Rack Stolen
On Monday 19th February, the eShare Head Offices in Newbury were broken into by an unknown masked intruder dressed all in black, however, initial findings indicate the thief did not leave with a large loot. The only missing item was the eShare Buddy Rack.
The eShare Buddy Rack is a symbol of good governance. Only eShare clients are allowed to receive the collectable. Handmade in Moravia from solid oak, each rack consists of a base and 4 Buddies – each representative of a governance tool. The base is symbolic of the pension scheme; each of the 4 buddies illustrates one of the modules of eShare. When they interlock, it symbolises synergy and how everything can work together to create a more effective solution.
eShare Managing Director, Alister Esam, commented “It seems as if the only item taken was an eShare Rack. The Rack is only valuable to a pension scheme who wishes to demonstrate good governance. It is clear the intruder knew exactly what they were after.”
eShare are offering a reward to anyone who finds the Buddy Rack which they strongly predict may be sold on eBay.
At present, only eShare clients have access to the Rack. Each buddy is presented to the scheme once it has been implemented, and the trustees are successfully using the system.
An internal investigation is underway at eShare to figure out how this could have happened. “We have no suspects at present; the investigation is purely to help determine how an intruder could enter the premises and take something so valuable without being noticed.”
eShare have appealed to anyone who may have seen the missing rack to call 0845 200 7829 or e-mail Info@eShareUK.com. Any information given which helps lead to the safe recovery of the Rack will be entitled to a reward.
