eShare Buddy Rack Found

The eShare Buddy Rack has been found and rescued from Internet auction site eBay. The rack which went missing over two weeks ago has been safely recovered from the auction site after an eShare employee spotted it.

“We strongly suspected the item may have ended up on eBay following the theft last month,” said Alister Esam, Managing Director of eShare. “The Buddy Racks are limited edition and only available to pension schemes wanting to demonstrate good governance.”

Handmade from solid oak in Moravia, the Buddy Rack symbolises how the different tools of the eShare Governance System integrate with the scheme and work together to create a more effective solution.

Approximately 100 people have been to view the item on the Internet Auction site during its ten day listing, and four people have bid for the item.

“After I knew about the racks appearance on eBay, I knew I had to get it back; there was no way I could withdraw the item so naturally I had to bid,” said Esam. “Luckily I won the item and it is now safely back in the office.”

Unfortunately eShare are no closer to finding the culprit of this heinous crime. An internal investigation was launched following the break-in last month but as yet, no-one has been held accountable. Sources at eShare have said the investigation shall continue; several clues have been discovered and there are some leads to follow up on.

If anyone does have any information on the theft, they are encouraged to call eShare on 0845 200 7829.
