eShare Launches the Big Green Survey

eShare have launched their Big Green Survey in an attempt to discover just how environmentally the pensions industry really is.

The survey is designed to look at the issue of wasting paper and attitudes towards being environmentally friendly.

“eShare has always been an environmentally conscious company,” said Managing Director Alister Esam.  “eShare users to work and share documents online as opposed to printing everything unnecessarily.”

The Big Green Survey is an extension of eShare’s current work; in highlighting just how much paper is wasted throughout the industry by printing documents unnecessarily, schemes can look towards reducing this for the future.

Becoming eco-friendly is fast becoming a hot topic in the UK following recent natural disasters which have been attributed to global warming; Companies throughout every industry are looking to reduce their ‘carbon footprint’.  Through The Big Green Survey we can discover just how eco-friendly the pensions industry really is.

“Anyone is welcome to complete our survey,” said Esam.  “We are even offering environmentally friendly prizes to encourage individuals to respond.”

Respondents to the survey can win prizes including:

  • ·         ½ an acre of Amazon rainforest
  • ·         A goat donated on your behalf to a villager in Zimbabwe
  • ·         20 chicks donated on your behalf for a community project in Sri Lanka
  • ·         A toilet donated to vulnerable families in Sanzukwi
  • ·         A unique journal made from recycled elephant dung
  • ·         A donkey donated on your behalf to Sudan
