Advisers Vote for Independent Governance Software
67% of advisers questioned as part of a recent eShare survey said that they would be more comfortable if governance software was managed by independent providers.
These days governance software provides an administration system to help manage almost any governance process. As a result the software holds critical, sensitive data and can expose those responsible to huge conflicts of interest.
Increasingly therefore advisers are choosing to work with independent governance software providers and the latest eShare survey supports this.
“This news isn’t surprising to us at eShare,” said eShare Managing Director, Alister Esam. “At eShare we are working more and more with advisers. We specialise in the software and they specialise in providing the advice and that is the way it should be.”
Not only is using an independent provider often more cost effective but it also allows them to specialise in the functionality they provide.
“We live this software day in day out, and are constantly making it do more and more,” said Esam ”You have to ask why any adviser would want to invest hundreds of thousands of pounds in a solution when a tried and tested product can be bought off the shelf.”
