EDF Energy joins eShare Community

Following a thorough and in depth procurement process, EDF Energy are the latest Pension Fund to join the eShare Community and reap the benefits of their award winning and innovative software solution.

 “Signing EDF Energy has taken several months to achieve due to a detailed and lengthy procurement process, but we are happy to now be able to announce them as a client,” said eShare Managing Director Alister Esam.  “Bringing EDF Energy on board provides us with an opportunity to work with them to implement a solution to help their trustees improve on their standards of governance and simplify the schemes management processes.”

EDF Energy have chosen to initially implement the eShare Bronze Package to provide their trustee board with effective tools to meet their TKU requirements and help the scheme secretariat to enhance their meeting management by simplifying their workload.

eShare will work with EDF Energy to help provide the Trustees with better access to information and automatically keep them up-to-date with new information.  In addition, eShare will maintain all historic meeting information centrally and through action management, ensure that all actions which occurred from the meetings are performed – nothing can ever be dropped through eShare.

Commenting on the appointment, EDF Energy scheme secretary Bob Richardson said, “We are pleased with the appointment of eShare and are all looking forward to implementing the software into our scheme.  eShare has a number of features to offer EDF Energy and we are all keen to see eShare in action and experience the benefits it has to offer.”

EDF Energy will be eShare’s sixth new client over the last couple of months.  Speaking of their recent success Esam commented:
