  • Freedom through technology
  • Presentations from our speakers
Overview
2012On Wednesday 12th September we held our Governance Seminar in Reading which looked at Pensions Governance in 2012.  People from throughout the industry came together to hear the experts opinion on where they saw the future of our industry.

Speakers presenting on the day included:
  • John Ashcroft - The Pensions Regulator
  • Paul Reynolds -  Pension Protection Fund
  • Jacqui Barker  -  Royal&SunAlliance
  • Alister Esam   -  eShare
  • Wayne Phelan -  Punter Southall Independent Trustees
Conclusions
Feedback we gained from the day was positive  and the majority of delegates expressed that the discussions from the day had given them something to think about and had begun them down the road of preparing for their schemes future.Statistic

At eShare we found it encouraging to discover that 90% of our delegates felt that technology was key to ensuring their schemes continued success into 2012.

Those present on the day were realistic and knew there were still changes to occur over the coming years but saw the benefits which technology had to offer them in coping in the changing regulatory environment.
Freedom through technology
At the Seminar delegates heard how technology can cut through the Governance red tape and make life easier for all.

The following demonstration video puts this presentation into the context of eShare.  It shows how, to make life easier for Trustees we must first make life easier for the pensions support team.
