Security Experts Portcullis have tested the robustness of eShare’s hosted governance software solution with excellent results.The same test principles were used that are used to test the critical systems of banks and government agencies.
Portcullis specialises in trying to hack into IT systems and find weaknesses and vulnerabilities. The Portcullis team is comprised of specialists in information security.
Portcullis found “eShare’s external infrastructure and the web server itself to be very well configured– the specialists could not gain unauthorised access, meaning their client’s sensitive data remained secure throughout.”
eShare provides a safe way to hold and share sensitive data. With important legislation and guidelines such as the Data Protection Act on how schemes should handle sensitive data, it is important to have a secure environment in which to store it.
